I have been busy as a bee and I managed to get some work done. I have finished one of the sock monkeys I was working on and I am working away on another. I have been stashing lovely yarns from pinkpeppercorns.com and decided today to make a couple collars out of them. i love them.

It has been a busy couple of weeks. I have been working on a lot of yarn. I am hoping to get a lot done to compensate for missed time this month. Not much time to write. I added a bunch of new links to the links page and I am remembering I need to update my mailing list. Little time to write..

i got this terrific old craft book from a local goodwill store today

it has great information on all sorts of things and lots of funny retro pictures of families wearing matching tatted sweaters and things. i want to get more into toy making and things. lately i have just really been into spinning yarn. i have to wait a while to get the Ashford country wheel I want to really get into the spinning that I want to do.
The Joy is a great wheel but may not serve all the purposes I need it to..and I am running into some problems with the tension and the yarn not feeding onto the spool. i have to work with it.

I added some new yarns to the site and more new ones will be coming. It is all I have been inspired to work on lately. I think everything is just too hectic right now. I need to send out a newsletter update as well. I suppose I should do that. Oh procrastination..
